Description:

A delicious, herb-packed, refreshing smoothie.  If you need something nurishing but not too filling, this smoothie is perfect.

Ingredients description

1⁄2 pineapple

1 cup fresh basil (packed)

1 cup fresh mint (packed)

1⁄2 lb. spinach

2-3 inches ginger (peeled)

1 lemon (whole, organic)

1 tsp. vanilla

Stevia to taste

1 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil

Water and ice as desired

Directions

Clean produce well, and then put in a VitaMix blender with 2 or more cups water. Blend until smooth. Add ice as desired, blend again and serve. This smoothie is best with LOTS of ice.

I love those green smoothie. I like ginger and you can taste it gives a little bite to it. My hubby on the other does not like ginger and he said the flavor was overwhelming.up to you to choose:-)
